Demography, Ethics & Public Policy (DEPP) is a website and research network for scholars interested in questions about demographic change, the family and population from both a normative and a social scientific perspective. Its main aim is to facilitate information exchange among academics tackling related questions about these issues across different disciplines and sub-disciplines.
In particular, DEPP provides a platform for sharing information about scholars' interests, research activities and online resources, so as to:
(1) Promote increased familiarity and interaction among scholars working on these topics in ethics and political philosophy on the one hand, and sociology, economics and law on the other; and
(2) Highlight points of connection between work done within various disciplines on issues involving the family, intergenerational justice, and population.
